In 2013 Maserati presented the Ghibli III in Shanghai.

This is not a coupe, but a sedan shorter than the QP: a new sales segment for Maserati, which competes with German sedans.

On the mechanical side, a twin-turbo V6 developed with Ferrari, the 8-speed Zf gearbox and for the first time an all-wheel drive. The range extends to diesel engines as well.
The SQ4,with 410 hp, reaches 284 km / h.

The design of the internal "Centro Stile" led by L. Ramaciotti offers an aggressive front with a plunging hood, taut lines and a short, high rear. It keeps the 3 gills and the Trident on the rear pillar.
