Karif
1988
In 1988, at the Geneva Motor Show, Maserati presented a sporty version of the Biturbo based on the Spyder's shortened base: the Karif.
It reconnects with the line of cars with wind names. The Karif blows in the Middle East.
Zagato will design the project by grafting a roof to the spyder.
The result is a short, edgy figure, ready to pounce.
On the mechanical side, the 2.8l biturbo and all the improvements to the biturbos (Ranger bridge, front suspension, ...) make this wild beauty a Supercar ahead of time with 5.6 s for 0 to 100 km / h!
